On January 5, 2016, Dr. Liang Zheng, Executive Director of Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform, attended the appointment ceremony of the third batch of industrial professors in Jiangsu Province at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Liu Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, delivered an important speech, and President Yang Zhenwei Dr. Liang Zheng issued a letter of appointment as a professor of industry.
On behalf of all the teachers and students of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Secretary Liu Chen extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the industrial professors hired this time. Secretary Liu pointed out that in recent years, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications has regarded "industry-university-research" cooperation as an important breakthrough in promoting the rapid development of various undertakings of the whole school, and has served local social and economic development through talent cooperation, project cooperation, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Dr. Liang Zheng said that through cooperation between schools and enterprises at high levels such as talent training, co-building platforms, and joint R&D, a win-win situation between schools and enterprises can be achieved; by actively participating in postgraduate training and other related work, enterprises can improve the actual situation of postgraduates in schools. Hands-on ability and innovation ability; by actively promoting enterprises and schools to jointly build scientific and technological innovation carriers, building teaching and practice bases, postgraduate workstations, etc., demonstration projects can be made in industry-university-research cooperation and school-enterprise joint training of talents. 
After the meeting, Dr. Liang Zheng and the leaders of the college further implemented the work plan during the tenure of industry professor.
