According to reports, in recent years, more and more low-dimensional nanomaterials, such as graphene, molybdenum disulfide, boron nitride, two-dimensional black phosphorus single crystal, etc., have been discovered one after another. Various complex structures based on these materials, Such as heterojunctions, stacking structures, etc. are also constantly generated. The novel properties of these low-dimensional nanomaterials and structures and their prospects in the fields of optoelectronics, catalysis, and sensing have attracted great attention from academia and industry, and have gradually entered the stage from laboratory research and development to industrial application. The establishment of unified naming methods, test methods, technical specifications, performance evaluation and other standards has a strong supporting role in the development of related industries and technologies in this field, and it has become an urgent need to carry out standardization work. Approved by the National Standardization Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Nanotechnology Standardization Technical Committee Low-Dimensional Nanostructure and Performance Working Group was formally established, numbered SAC/TC279/WG9, responsible for organizing and coordinating the national standardization work in the field of low-dimensional nanotechnology. In order to speed up the establishment of national standards and group standards, and promote my country to lead relevant international standards, the first plenary meeting of the International Standards Working Committee of China International Graphene Resources Industry Alliance will be held at the same time.
