From November 15th to 17th, the 11th National Particle Testing Academic Conference and the 2017 National Powder Testing Technology Application Seminar was held in Guangzhou. The conference was hosted by the Particle Testing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Particles. More than 120 experts and scholars from all over the country attended the conference. Ding Rong, Chairman of the Giant Group, and Dr. Liang Zheng, Executive Director of the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform were invited to attend the conference. Huang Zhaotuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of South China Normal University, Professor Ge Baozhen, Director of the Particle Testing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Particles, and President of Tianjin University of Commerce, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the conference. From China National Institute of Metrology, National Nano Center, National Graphene Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Tianjin University, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine, Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform and other universities, research institutes, More than 30 experts from the testing institution made wonderful academic reports on the cutting-edge issues in the field of particle testing, such as accurate measurement of nanoparticles, design of precious metal plasmonic nanostructures, particle refractive index measurement, and nanoparticle zeta potential measurement. The scholars present actively asked questions to experts and exchanged the latest achievements in particle testing and other aspects, and discussed the development direction and future trends of particle testing. The National Particle Testing Conference is held every two years, and the reported results represent the highest level in the domestic particle testing field.

At the same time, the enlarged meeting of the Standing Committee of the Particle Testing Professional Committee of the Chinese Particle Society, the group standard review meeting of the Chinese Particle Society, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment CNAS Z0127 proficiency testing plan report meeting, and the signing ceremony of the particle technology group standards community were also held.
