Information

A new indium selenide (InSe) semiconductor, developed by researchers at the Universities of Manchester and Nottingham, is only a few atoms thick, similar to graphene. The research results were published in "Nature Nanotechnology".

Graphene is only one atom thick and has unparalleled electronic properties, but no energy gap, making it impossible to use semiconductors in transistors. New research shows that indium selenide (InSe) crystals can be just a few atoms thick, almost as thin as graphene. And similar to silicon, indium selenide (InSe) has a large energy gap that can easily control the switching of transistors. Meanwhile, indium selenide (InSe) was shown to have an ultrafast electron velocity.

Andre Geim, one of the authors of the study and a Nobel Laureate in Physics, believes the new findings could have a major impact on the future of electronics.

If indium selenide (InSe) can be successfully applied to computer motherboards, processors, or applied to electronic components such as conductive films and transparent flexible electrodes, it is bound to lead the next electronics industry revolution, and it is worthy of being a leader in the field of two-dimensional materials. Another "blockbuster".
Juna Group, together with HQGraphene of the Netherlands and 2DSemiconductor of the United States, provides high-quality two-dimensional crystal materials for customers in China, including the fine and new material indium selenide (InSe). A special toolbox for material mechanical stripping.

At the same time, with the approval of the National Standardization Management Committee and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Nanotechnology Standardization Technical Committee approved the establishment of a low-dimensional nanostructure and performance working group on the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform (under Giant Nano), numbered SAC/TC279/WG9. The low-dimensional nanostructure and performance working group is mainly responsible for and coordinating the national low-dimensional nanostructure and performance standardization work. Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform Co., Ltd. is the responsible unit of the working group.
