On November 11, 2019, the National Standards Management Committee issued Announcement No. 12 of 2019, deciding to establish a National Technical Committee for Standardization of Microbubble Technology.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established the Microbubble Technical Committee (TC281) in 2013, and the secretariat is located in Japan. After the establishment of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Microbubble Technology, it will be responsible for the field of microbubble technology (covering terms and general principles, including but not limited to the characterization and application of microbubbles in liquid media, with special attention to artificially produced microbubbles with a size less than 100 microns). The national standard formulation and revision work corresponds to the work field of ISO/TC281.

On December 27, the inaugural meeting and 2019 annual meeting of the National Microbubble Technology Standardization Technical Committee was held in Beijing. Academician Li Hongzhong, consultant of the Standardization Committee, and relevant leaders of the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the ceremony and issued national professional awards to the members. The conference reviewed and approved the draft of the technical committee's charter and secretariat's working rules, as well as the proposal for the establishment of four national recommended standards related to microbubble technology, and added the candidate Li'an as the deputy director of the bidding committee and Chen Luhai as the deputy secretary-general of the bidding committee.

In the second half of the meeting, Secretary-General Li Zhaojun introduced the work of ISO/TC281 and made an annual work plan report. The secretariat introduced the management methods of the National Standardization Committee and the application of the standardization business platform. Dr. Jia Yuanyuan from the Evaluation Center of the National Standards Administration was invited to do standardization knowledge training. In recent years, the application of micro-bubble technology in my country has also achieved rapid development in many fields. The National Micro-bubble Technology Standardization Committee will serve as a standardized exchange platform for national standards committees, research institutes, colleges and universities, enterprises and related experts to better serve my country.
