Taizhou Daily News July 22, 2014 (Reporter Xie Rong Correspondent Liu Ping) Recently, the ISO organization officially reported to the Secretary General of the Graphene Standardization Committee of the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the Vice President of Technology of Taizhou Juna New Energy Co., Ltd., Dr. Liang Zheng, executive director of the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform, sent a letter to inform him that he has passed the ISO expert application, and the relevant registration information has been entered into the ISO global directory, and he has officially become a member of the ISO/TC229 International Nanotechnology Committee.

ISO/TC229 International Nanotechnology Committee is a newly established ISO technical committee in 2005. It consists of full members from 31 countries, observers from 8 countries, and 20 related liaison organizations. TC229 aims to establish international standards for nanotechnology and guide the standardized development of international nanotechnology, nanoscience research and nanotechnology industry.

Participating in the formulation of international standards for nanotechnology has become a strategic measure that many countries, especially developed countries, attach great importance to. Leading the formulation of international standards for nanotechnology is of great significance to improving the country's industrial and academic status and occupying the commanding heights of future nanotechnology and industries.

In December 2013, after the China (first) Graphene Standardization Forum was successfully held in Taizhou, the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance took the lead in releasing the No. 1 standard in the field of graphene in my country, Q/LM01CGS001-2013 "Nouns of Graphene Materials". Terms and Definitions", Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform and Taizhou Juna New Energy Co., Ltd. are the main drafting units. At present, my country's graphene standardization work is being carried out in an orderly manner under the active leadership of the Graphene Standardization Committee of the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and has been at the forefront of the world.

Remarkably, industry experts expect 2015 to be the first year of graphene commercialization. From the perspective of commercialization, graphene is relatively mature in replacing ITO targets in touch screens and ordinary graphite in super capacitors, and it is most likely to be the first to be commercialized in 2015.
