In the recent period, a "Taizhou cyclone" has been blowing in the graphene industry: on the occasion of its 3rd anniversary, the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform launched 18 standards in one fell swoop. It is reported that this is the first large-scale introduction of graphene standards in my country and the world. So far, the platform has promulgated 19 enterprise standards.

Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform was born in August 2011. It was jointly established by the municipal government and Taizhou Juna New Energy Co., Ltd., one of the earliest domestic enterprises engaged in the preparation and application of graphene materials. The total area of ​​the platform is more than 3,000 square meters, and it has international advanced testing equipment such as high-resolution Raman spectrometer, atomic force microscope, three-dimensional confocal microscope, electron beam exposure system, and near-field optical microscope.

In November 2013, the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance officially designated the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform as a national-level graphene research and testing public service platform, and set the platform as the secretariat of the China Graphene Standardization Committee to better Provide professional testing and services to the entire domestic graphene industry.

At the beginning of 2014, the China Graphene Standardization Committee officially released the China Graphene No. 1 Standard "Terms and Definitions of Graphene Materials", which has been implemented since 2014. This standard was jointly drafted by Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform, Taizhou Juna New Energy Co., Ltd., Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southeast University and Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. So far, there are clear standards for key terms and definitions of graphene at home and abroad.

The 18 standards released by the Taizhou Graphene Research and Testing Platform this time include "Multi-method Joint Determination of Graphene Layers", "Graphene Powder Performance Test Method", "Determination of Graphene Interlayer Stacking", "Graphene "Testing and Analysis of Graphene Surface Residues", etc., involving graphene atomic structure and optical, electrical, mechanical, thermal properties and other fields.

"Graphene's No. 1 standard has solved its basic definition problem, and the 18 standards released this time have gone a step further, standardizing the methods and means of judging graphene, guiding specific operations, and filling the gap in the industry.
