From December 22 to 24, the 5th Graphene Youth Forum co-organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai University of Applied Sciences was held in Shanghai. Zhang Fan, Sun Jing from Institute of Silicate Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yu Ting, professor of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Ni Zhenhua, professor of Southeast University, Zhang Qiang, special researcher of Tsinghua University, Gao Chao, professor of Zhejiang University, Liu Zhaoping, researcher of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Ding Rong, chairman of Juna Group More than 70 top young experts and industry leaders in graphene research at home and abroad were invited to attend.

The forum aims to exchange and display the latest research results, look forward to the future development trend of the discipline, promote the development of graphene research in China, and explore the application of graphene-related technologies in the development of my country's national economy. The forum adopts the form that both tutors and students can come to the stage to make reports. Through keynote speeches, interactive exchanges, and poster presentations, the forum will share research experience, focus on bottleneck problems, explore development paths, seek breakthrough methods, and promote the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. The 35 wonderful reports given by the young talents at the meeting were staged in turn. The Graphene Youth Forum gathers top research talents in the graphene research community and is held once a year. It has become a forum with a high level of graphene research and a strong academic atmosphere.
